### Diameter of Gold atom in Angstroms from # of atoms

I am now supposed to find the diameter in angstroms of an atom of gold. I get that I need to find the number of atoms of gold in 1 cm, therefore, it should be the cube root of 5.9 x10^22, which I have as roughly 3.89 x 10^7 atoms/cm. From here, I divided 1 by the above result to get the diameter, and got 2.6 Angstroms diameter.

The crystal structure of gold is face‐centered cubic. Its unit cell, or basic repeating unit, shows that it contains four gold atoms and that the gold atoms touch along the face diagonal. In terms of the gold atom radius, the unit cell dimension is \(2 \sqrt{2} \text{R}\).
